Janssen Cosmetics has been present on the Polish market for 20 years this year. In spring 1999 Walther Janssen presented his Cosmeceuticals for the first time at a cosmetics fair in Warsaw. Stanislaw Calka, who ran a cosmetics wholesale business in Rzeszow, immediately stood out among some interested parties for distribution on the Polish market.

Walther had then taken Jutta Janzen, his later long-time employee, to Warsaw as a beautician and a Polish-speaking hostess as a translator at the stand. Stanislaw with his company Agmat Bis visited Janssen Cosmeceutical in Aachen a few weeks later and after a thorough training they started selling Cosmeceuticals in Poland.

In the following 10 years Agmat Bis became one of our most successful partners from the very beginning, sometimes even under difficult conditions. But it became easier when Poland joined the EU.

After twelve years, Stanislaw handed over the business to his son Mateusz Calka and in 2012 to his son-in-law Maciej Kotula, who had been with us from the very beginning and now runs his company Vista SP. Z.O.O..

You can contact Maciej Kotula and Vista SP.Z.O.O. as follows:

A special feature is also the very good relationship with the University of Health Care in Wroclaw established by Ewa Podobinska. Many young beauticians could be recruited from this school and often students also came to the Beauty Academy in Aachen to learn more about products and treatment methods with Janssen Cosmetics cosmeceuticals.
