New construction investment at the Cosmetic Hub Oberforstbach

At the Cosmetic Hub Oberforstbach Hirzenrott (industrial area Pascalstraße) the foundation stone was laid for another building project of the company JANSSEN COSMETICS.

After a new parcel dispatch warehouse with assembly hall was built in 2018, a new office building with a training centre is now under construction at the site.

The seminars in particular are an important pillar in the marketing of professional cosmetics, both in Germany and worldwide.

Every year around 15 seminar groups from all over the world come to Aachen for one week to learn about the latest trends in service cosmetics for training purposes. Also the seminar system for Germany was strongly developed in the last years.

On the ground floor of the new building, the management plans to set up a larger meeting room in which cultural and social events can be held in addition to larger groups of visitors.

The marketing department will be accommodated in new rooms on the first floor, while the training centre will be located on the top floor.

The ground-breaking ceremony was carried out by the managing directors Ulrich Janssen and Reinhard Janssen on 11 November 2019. The architectural office Hammers from Aachen was responsible for the planning, and the general contractor for this new building was again Adams Holzbau-Fertigbau GmbH from Niederzissen, which had already erected the first timber construction last year.

Completion is expected in summer 2020.
